The celebration of mass is a central part of our spirituality at St. Joseph’s. We celebrate mass as a whole school 5 times throughout the year; at the start of September, Christmas, Easter, End of Year and of course, for St. Joseph’s feast day on 1st May. We also come together in our House groups to celebrate our House Saint’s Feast Day and there is an opportunity for students and staff to join a short, reflective mass on a Monday lunchtime every fortnight.
Our local priests come into to celebrate with us throughout the year and we are always delighted to welcome them and their words of wisdom! Our masses are always very prayerful and bring a great sense of joy to all of us as whole school community.
We were very fortunate to welcome Bishop Peter in May to celebrate St. Joseph’s Feast Day with us – even more special as it was an opportunity for us to congratulate him on his Golden Jubilee of Ordination.
