St. Joseph’s Catholic High School GCSE Results

St. Joseph’s Catholic High School GCSE Results

  • At GCSE 5A*-C inc. English & Maths 55%
  • (New accountability measure) Progress 8 was +0.45 (i.e. students progressed half a grade higher than their peers nationally per each subject they took)
  • At GCSE overall pass rate 5 A*-G was 99.22%

Congratulations to all our Year 11 students, parents, guardians and staff. We’re delighted that at last the new accountability measures capture the exceptional progress the students make at St Joseph’s which will probably place us in the top 15%-20% of all schools nationally for the third year in a row. For a non-selective school this is something to be proud of.

In particular we’re delighted with outstanding performances from the following students in their GCSEs: Angela Umbao 11 A*/A, Szymon Swendrowski 9 A*/A and Damian Walczak 8 A*/A who have achieved the highest results in the history of the school.
